What is this?

Odd orange bubble on my 17 week old pullets comb. Does anyone know what this is? Seen the discoloration when her comb started growing, over the past week looks more like a bubble.

Could it be an injury or an abscess? Can you see if there is pus inside.

Hard to tell, she runs from me and is hard to catch. I will corner her in the run in the morning and take a closer look.

If you can walk into the coop at night, that is a good time to grab the hen and examine her.
