Do you have any chickens in your flock who have just started laying? Or any new chickens in your flock? I think young chickens tend to lay shelless eggs. New chickens can carry in diseases if not properly quarantined, though I don't know if any diseases cause shell-less eggs. Like @Mamatomany123 said, it's propably nothing to worry about if not reoccurring

also looks like the lining of the oviduct has been shed, though it looks a bit papery.
Do you mean the 'tail' attached to the softshell egg?
No, that's just extra membrane.
 
It's not the soft shell that worries me. We get those from time to time. It's the thing coming out of the egg. It's like a tube of some sort. Hollow up the center and rubbery.

It's part of the membrane malfunction, have had them here from time to time.
How old are your birds?
