It appears cross-polination is possible and it may even be cross-polinated with a pumpkin! This plant may be a crazy plant that will produce squash and gourd or squash and pumpkin like things and cross-varietys....We'll just have to wait and see what other fruit it springs up! We may cut open the white "fruit" whatever it is and try and figure out what it is, or we may just use it for decoration. Thanks for your help everyone, and we'll let you know how the next fruit(s) of this strange plant turn out.
