I bought this chick at my local atwoods I actually got 3 of them and they were listed as delaware pulletts I noticed that this one has been loosing her down but not growing any feathers is she sick or is it a skin disease? Also one of her toes looks alot lighter than the others.

The chick down gets pushed out when the feathers grow in as you can see them coming in on your chick. It causes the appearance of baldness, but in a few days, your won't notice it as the feathers begin to cover that area.

It's not at all uncommon for some chickens to have toenails of different colors. I have two black hens that are identical except one has one white toe nail on each foot. I call her Oreo.
