What is happening in this egg? The dark spot is outside. I had a dozen shipped eggs not go well but wanted to ask about this one

Day of incubation? Species? Without details I’d guess it is an embryo that died about 1/3 of the way through incubation and day of death was several days ago. Is it sloshy?

Sorry! Its a chicken day 10.its not super slushy when I turn it

You can watch to see if it continues to fill over the next few days but I’m guessing it died 3 days ago and the embryo has clumped up and floats around as a dark mass in some reddish fluid. If it doesn’t grow and fill the egg, open it and take a peek.
