My husband brought home this baby chick from the feed store and all he knows is that it's a bantam? Any ideas?

Cat food? (LOL, Just kidding!!!! That is one well-behaved cat!!!!)

I'm no expert - looks like pics of Black Australorp chicks, but I don't know if they come in Bantam size.

BA's have all black feet. My vote is for black Jersey Giant- Just like BA's except feet aren't all black and they get bigger. I have both (I think I have a couple black JG's). Are you sure it's a bantam? Looks exactly like my BJG's (or whatever they are) did at that age. I have such a hard time telling the size of stuff on the computer and I'm super new to anything bantam (except my mille's and bantam cochins).

Oh, and I love your cat's expression! So pretty.
