what is this ??

One of my girls laid this the other day, I thought it was poo in the egg at first but soon realised it wasn't, on cracking egg open it was clear it was a normal egg but with this lump thing in it?? The lump felt meaty, and when I cut it open all the puss stuff came out but it did not smell...

Please can some one tell me what they think it may be, someone has said possible something to do with the ovaries ??

It is really gross

made me feel ill investigating but it had to be done

I really hope its not an ovarie, but 1 of my girls was looking a bit down today and as I don't know who laid this I'm hoping her looking down and this egg are not the same thing, fingers crossed she is ok
