What is this?

My friends are camping here in West Virginia and this cutie landed on their tent. Any idea of what breed it is, please? Also, is it a wild or domesticated pigeon, do you think? Thanks!

It's a lost domestic bird. Looks like a tumbler of some kind. It's young and won't last long on its own in the wild. Needs to be caught ASAP so it'll be safe. I'm guessing it doesn't have a band on its leg?

Looks like a crested saxon to me, but I'm looking to see if they come in that color. Most common type are the shields. But, the body build and beak make me think Saxon.

Can't find any matching that look, even in the white tail saxons. Second guess is a tumbler of some kind, but I have no idea which. So many tumblers out there. XD

i agree, looks like a tumbler, but might have a bit of somethig else in there too. catch it as soon as possible, and ask around the local pigeon comunity and try to find its owner or someone who will take it if you cant find the owner. pretty little thing btw

Thanks for the info, they tried to catch it to bring it to me but it took off before they could.
