Hi,
I have chicks with poopy butts, their feathers look like their wet when they aren't, they are really thin and act starved when they have access to food and water 24/7. It started with my brahma chicks and the moved on to everyone else slowly. My chicks are all in separate brooders and are mainly split up by age. I have chicks from two days old up to 8 weeks. It's mainly affecting then younger chicks. I was putting a little baking soda in the water and that didn't help at all. So I started treating them for cocci which doesn't seem to be helping at all either. I've lost over a dozen chicks to this. Does anyone have any advice?
