What is this?

Hi there, I was sold both of these chickens (they are approx. 12 weeks old) as Maran/EE crosses, both pullets. Do they look to be such? It won't be horrible if the white one is a roo...though I think that would throw off our girl/boy ratio quite a bit. WDYT?

Whatever breed they are they certainly are pretty!
Id say the white is a Roo for sure

The white is a rooster, the dark is pullet. I can see the cuckoo marans, but really don't see any easter egger in there. Especially with those light colored legs and nice straight combs. I'm not a big marans person, but the darker one could be pure I guess, but not sure what the light one is crossed with.

Thanks everyone! The owner said she will take him back no problem so that little guy is gone tomorrow! Glad to not have another mouth to feed when I'll get nothing in return. One rooster should be plenty with the remaining 10 girls now
