I thought it was scaly leg mites but a previous veterinary assistant/rooster rescue friend pointed out they aren't really raising the scales and are hitting the soft spots of the feet... So what is this so I can treat it properly?
(I am working on getting licensed to become an official non profit rescue, and have been trying to take on the sick, injured, and elderly, I want to be an avian vet and look forward to a challenge of patience and constantness of treating a bird and the happiness of the bird and the adopter if I am adopting them out which this pair has an owner waiting after they are treated) they were surrendered by a person who took them from someone who was neglecting them and didn't raise them properly
Today I soaked their feet and got the poop from beneath their nails and discovered bumblefoot as well which I am treated as needed, along with a few nails needed clipped so I did that and I wiped below the females vent and tomorrow they get baths and another gentle scrub and soak
