what is up with it's toes??

Could be vitamin deficiency or hereditary. I would not breed this bird until you can find out if it just vitamin deficiency. She should be fine for eggs and she will likely manage her difficulties well regardless.

Good Luck

My faverolles/NH... I got her at 2 weeks, her feet were like this. Tried to shoe her, but she kept getting them off...

Here she is with her babies under her. She roosts, digs, has had 2 broods. Both feet are very deformed.

If it doesn't bother the chicken then why worry? Unless she can't get around it's probably fine

You can fix curled toes when they are very young but it's too late at 8 weeks. I have a couple EE's with severe curled toes and they are fine. It doesn't seem to hurt them at all so I am not worried about it. I have them for eggs only so I'm also not worried about breeding...not that I plan to hatch out her eggs anyway.
