What is up with this hen (sorta graphic) she is fine now.

One of my wild hens showed up with this all over her head (legs were fine) and then in a few days she back to pretty much normal.

No signs of this on ANY of my other birds !

I know it looks like fowl pox, but it cleared up really quickly.

I sure don't know what it is, but I am sure glad it is all cleared up. Like you, I think it looks like fowl pox.??? Does that clear up so quickly, I don't know.

I had something similar happen to a couple of mine, about a year ago. It cleared up on its own and there were no other problems. I am guessing it was a pecking injury.

Looks like she possibly got beat up by another hen, or rooster. Or maybe some other type of bird, who knows.
