Any idea what is wrong with this chicken and what I can do to help her?

I have brought her inside in a crate with bedding andnjust getting her food now.

Judging by the lesions, it's possibly fowl pox, mosquitos are normally the culprit. I suspect your hen scratched a fowl pox lesion near her eye and got the eye infected.
Flush her eye with saline solution and apply Terramycin eye ointment in her eye twice a day until the area heals. Neosporin ointment will work if you cant get the Terramycin.
Fowl pox goes away on its own in about 4-6 weeks. There is no treatment for fowl pox since it's a virus. Eggs are safe to eat.

I agree, it looks like fowl pox. Bubbles or foam in the eye can also be a sign of mycoplasma (MG.) Fowl pox can make create a good environment for secondary infections, such as MG. Flush the eye as recommended, and use the Terramycin eye ointment. If you cannot get that, as in some states, use the Neosporin ointment. It works in a pinch.
