Ivermectin nd vaseline should treat face mites, but I agree that it looks a bit like flavius. Eggcessive's got you covered!

Scaly mites only causes their comb and wattles to become pale and their skin to be scaly and dry. With Favus their face and comb or wattles turns white from the fungus.

It was close to a year before my hens molted and grew new feathers in the bald spots on their back and neck where feathers were broken.

My girls did end up fully recovering!
I'm pretty sure it was the face mites.
