What is wrong with Eleanor?

For about 6 weeks now, Eleanor has had a crooked looking neck or a mass of some sort growing. She walks with her head to the right and her chest goes left. She doesn't seem in pain and upon touching the area, it doesn't feel much like a mass, it was just bony feeling. Hope the picture gives you a good idea. I'm bewildered! Thanks : )

How old is she? Does she eat alright? Is it ever any smaller, say in the morning before breakfast? I had a bird once who's crop was on the left side instead of the right but it didn't look like that.

Chickens have the highest cancer rate of any of our farm animals. I'm not saying its cancer but it is possible.

She is almost 5 months old. She does eat well, doesn't seem uncomfortable or anything. Now that you mention it, it does look smaller at times. Anything I can do if it is a crop issue?

If it goes down and is almost non-existent in the morning it just means she's eating good. I wouldn't worry.
