if you want to help her comb heal up, you could always spray her with some Veterycn ( if you have some. )
Blue Kote or Rooster Booster Pick No More *Pick No More has nasty herbs taste that prevents cannibalism* - is also an option, just to get the other birds to stop pecking at her as well.

I have lots of peck no more, I don't have veterycn.

I haven't seen a single fly since last summer. Its still cold here.

There are flies around but they didn't cause those spots. It looks to be healing wound marks to me as well.

Most likely, it usually works the first time they peck the victim ( in my flock at least. ) They will get that nasty taste and think twice before doing it again

also, I would have some water at the ready in case she accidentally flicks some into her eye. Or use a tissue to make sure her eyes are covered

I've put it on the girls before, when the babies where about 5 months old the big girls pecked a massive hole in my faverolles. They don't peck so aggressivly now, but they do peck the tops of the babies heads when they dare come into the run in the morning before the big girls have eaten their full.

They are such bullies. In the mornings the babies have to wait til the big girls go upstairs to lay eggs before they can eat. It doesn't help that my run is small. My dad promised me he would make it bigger, but never did :l..

To combat the small coop thing I just let them out at 8am when I wake up. When the big girls go out to free range the littles can eat inside, or come and eat the food that I leave on the deck. They have 5 water buckets/bowls I refill daily that are scattered about their favorite hang out places
