i RESCUED A WOODDUCK 2 MONTHS AGO AND HE HAS BEEN DOING GREAT UNTIL 4 DAYS AGO.HE IS LEARNING TO FLY AND WHILE CARRYING HIM IN HE STARTED FLAPPING HIS WINGS AND FELL OUT OF MY HANDS.THE LANDING WAS HORRIBLE.I KNOW 1 LEG WAS INJURED,BUT HIS HEAD IS NOW SITTING BACK AS IF HE CAN'T LIFT IT UP OR FORWARD.THAT WAS THE FIRST DAY,WE ARE ON DAY 4 OF THE INJURY AND HE CAN FLAP HIS WINGS,HE CAN MOVE HIS HEAD SIDE TO SIDE AND STRETCH OUT ALITTLE.HE STILL KEEPS HIS NECK AND HEAD SITTING WAY BACK AND HIS CHEST IS STICKING WAYOUT THERE.HE EATS AND DRINKS FINE.I PUT HIM IN THE WATER MANY TIMES A DAY,IT SEEMS TO HELP ALOT.WILL HIS NECK HEAL ON ITS OWN OVER TIME OR IS THERE SOMETHING SERIOUSLY WRONG????

Something could be seriously wrong, but ducks are resilient and with some help he may be okay, or he may be a special needs duck.

The water therapy is good. Do you have poultry vitamins?

First i would like to thank you for your input, you gave me hope. no vitamins, however when we were outside today, itty bitty(what we named him) was scared by aloud noise and flew completly around the house at a good height and was done so gracefully.i think he is going to be ok,just need time to heal.thank you again.
