What is wrong with my Ameraucana?

Chicken crazy1- I have had her for several months and this recently started maybe a month ago. Before that she was perfectly normal.

Have you tried going into the coop at night and checking for parisites? Have you tried giving her apple cider vinigar? Maybe you could look at a book of chicken deaseases and find something that sounds like her. Somtimes that helps with sick chickens. I really wish I could help. If it was possible to know all the illnesses in the world,everyone would be better off.

There are 2 threads on here that I would recommend--Chickens for 10-20 years and The road less traveled...back to good health. They are full of old fashioned wisdom when people raised chickens how their grandparents raised them years ago with common sense, good animal husbandry, and without all of the harmful drugs. She may just be kind of slow--I have a couple of chickens like that. I wouldn't keep giving her worm medicine all the time though, but I would try some ground up raw pumpkins seeds. She could have mites, but I would try to find traces of dirt down in her feather shafts before I treated that (neem oil can be good for that.)

Sadly she passed away this week. We performed a necropsy on her and she had a large mass in her stomach. Definitely cancerous. I can honestly say I have never had a bird with cancer before. Very disturbing. Thanks everyone for your help

Sorry to hear... I would just like to point out that in your picture her head is low and tail is low, which if they aren't sleeping usually means they are sick.

Yes I know . There was no other symptoms but now that we found that mass our questions were answered.
