What is wrong with my chicken?

Since I posted this, yes, there is something on the other side as well. Not nearly as visible or bright red in color. Are you going to tell me something simple like my hen is a rooster? Or is this something horrible? I have searched and searched the internet, but I cannot seem to find any "real" solid answers! Thank you again!

I will tell you that your bird is normal - that would appear to be earlobe development to me - as for pullet/roo, I don't see anything alarmingly "rooish" at this point, but some full body shots would be helpful in that (understand why those aren't posted here as we asked for pictures of the head/area of concern)

I wondered about the ear lob development, but out of 9 chicks this is the ONLY one who has this. And the other side doesn't look bloody, just pinkish. I'll keep you posted! Thank you again!
