What is wrong with my chicken?

I was wondering if anyone knows what this is. My chicken is about 7 months old. It has been going on for maybe a month now. Can anyone identify and tell me how to treat it?

You need to post symptoms to give an idea of what is going on. Pictures if obvious injury or illness.

Sorry I thought I attached a picture. It looks like poop is getting stuck in its feathers under its butt. They are stuck together and it almost looks like they may be falling out/thinning in the area

Yup

Pasty butt can be caused by a number of things. Too much of a good thing and worms come to mind first. If it has been ongoing, I would treat for worms.
