What is wrong with my chicken???

I have a blue laced andalusian and she keeps running around and looking a her butt while she is running. Its like she is running from her tail. She is 21 weeks and we thought that it was maybe time for her to start laying, but no egg yet. Could it be tail feathers coming in or something else?

Could be getting close to laying time, or maybe she has some poo stuck and cant figure out how to get it off. Dont think I've ever seen a chicken drag it's butt on the ground like a dog, but then again i'm new to this too!

Did you look her over for bugs ??? Maybe her bum is itchy !!!!! Maybe she is just a odd ball.... My dog does that sometimes !!!! I tell her she's a weirdo and there is nothing wrong with her butt !!!!

Yes we looked for bugs and did not find any she must just be a weirdo. By the way you have a very pretty silkie in your picture.

I have 14 silkies they are very cute.
