What is wrong with my EGG?!

Um...I have a bantam cochin and some standard orpingtons. My cochin usually lays smaller eggs. Today, she popped out THIS!!!



She was the only one left to lay today, and when I checked, she was in the nesting box, laying...when I came back she was still in the nesting box, but I reached under her and pulled THIS egg out!

Is this normal?

I mean, the egg is almost the size of the chicken! How did she lay this without dying?!

Anyone?!
