FBC, I believe this really started getting worse when we as a people had to start playing 'nice' with everyone. This playing nice, which started back in the late 60's early 70's has left us vunerable to attacks from all sides. Someone knew what this person was like long before this happened and maybe even tried to have something done. Trouble is, who's going to do anything about it? The authorities? As if! No monies, no time and a judicial system that is in tatters. One of us? Oh yeah, bet the authorities would find all kinds of resources for someone trying to do the right thing. I'm with you with the glass of wine and the staying home. Safer and much better company. Still, I would really, really like just 15 minutes alone with that guy. Sorry for the rant but when I think what that poor bird endured and what it's thoughts must have been....I can only pray that there's something similar waiting for him.

That is just plain sick!! People like this do not belong in society with others,rather in my point of view,load all the sexual predators,rapists,and perverts up on a boat,and take them to an island somewhere far far away from any other land masses and be sure the island is surrounded by sharks. Let them fend for themselves or become fodder for the rest of the perverts thats there with them. Our society seems to warrant punishment to fit the crime which now costs the taxpayers on Illinois over $48,000 a year to house one prisoner.Our country is going downhill and fast. There is no getting ahead anymore.There is nothing left to put away for that rainy day.I'm sorry about the ranting but Illinois is the worst state for being in debt,worse than California and yet our governor finds new ways to tax everything,yet we keep getting deeper and deeper into debt every year.Our prison system is way under-staffed because of cutbacks,so since these types of idiots are worthless to society,why should society house them in a jail cell for 20 years or more?

I want to know why animal cruelty is only a misdemeanor and not a felony. Granted, I don't know much about the judicial system, but I know that animals are BETTER than humans, and if a human gets raped, the rapist is convicted a felon. This, to me, is no different than rape. Just because it is an animal does not mean the suspect should get off on less of a charge. This makes me sick.

People are very sick. the really scary thing is that this story is not alone. this kind of stuff happens all the time & its very disturbing. There was a farm in Washington that was shut down several years ago for this exact subject matter - it was discovered because a man died from having sexual relations with a horse. Its a very sick world we live in.....

About 15 years ago, long after I had moved up here, I heard a term I had never heard before. Stump broke. When i asked what it was and after the laughter died down, someone explained it to me. Yes I threw up all over their shoes. I guess it's quite common to teach a cow to back up to a stump here.
