Wow....

makes my bike look like a jalopy.... that's me...the jalopy jockey... with 2 or three white doubled sacks of groceries hanging from each handlebar... and a turkey/chicken, gallon of milk on the back and a basket full of veggies... trucking along trying not to fall over at the least crack in the sidewalk or breeze made by a passin bird..... Such style that desoto has.... but for now I will look like the under the bridge tramp with all my wears attached to me as if they were my only possessions... ha ha ha...

When I was a kid we used to throw water balloons at bicyclers. Yes my parents taught me better. I would have never done that with them in the car. Of course that was about 5 generations ago. The stuff we did back then would put you in jail these days. Guess the kids have more manners now. Sometimes you just have to remember way back to when you were a kid. Then you realize what the kids are doing.

I remember when Schwinn came out with those 3 wheelers. They weighed about 2 tons. Good grocery getter though.

Now that's one man you gotta wonder about... Tim Burton can put out some...MOVIES...I was gonna say movies. Beetlejuice,Nightmare before christmas,The new Alice in Wonderland, and sooo many more. Rather disturbing things....lol...Yes I have a collection of his. He's right next to my horribly huge Stephen King collection and Wes Craven collection.

Donno about Wes so much, but I've oodles of King (books)... and Clive Barker (OMG ever play his PC game undying, it's creepy!)... King is by far the Uber Creepy to me because all too often the monster is human and that is always by far scarier than giant spiders or aliums.

Part of my book collection carries John Saul,Stephen King/Richard Bachman,Dean Koontz,Jack Ketchum,Clive Barker, and Peter Straub. As well as hundreds of books about Serial murderers and psychopaths and heinous crimes.Which to me are far more horrific than any King/Koontz/Saul put together by Wes Craven. Why? Because a human being unwound is the most dangerous and evil thing on Earth.

Movies include King,Craven,Barker,Burton,and MANY more....

Before I taught my mom to drive, she had one of the three wheelers, I think with 3 speeds too. She wrote that thing all over.

I used to ride a lot as a teen too, will never forget the fine gentleman that decided to grab my rear when the car he was in was doing about 45mph. I think it took a month for the bruise to let me sit down right and good thing I did not take a header in to the curb. And then there were the other fine gents who would make sure they hit the mud puddles when I was on my way to HS.....

Now, I have a nice Trek Navigator bike with a bunch o'gears, pretty basket upfront, rack in the back and a rear view mirror!
