I agree, can you add a little protein to your chicken's diet? Eggs, meat or fish would be good. When she was just a chick she had he what I like to call the baby fluff but then she started growing and didn’t grow he feathers
She’s around a month and a half
I like in Ecuador
And I feed all my chicken corn but we give them fruit and vegetables when ever we can
Uhmmmm I don’t think they sell protein what I’ve seen that they sell is for growth and to get fatterThey might have a protein deficiency. If you feed them more protein, they might start growing out feathers. Many BYC owners feed extra protein during the molt, as it makes it easier for them to grow new feathers and keep warm in the cold. Protein-deficient hens will pluck and eat one another’s feathers, so they could be pecking each other bald.
Raw?I agree, can you add a little protein to your chicken's diet? Eggs, meat or fish would be good.
Personally I prefer to give it cookedRaw?
Oh ok I was worried for a bitPersonally I prefer to give it cooked![]()
It’s just that rn non of the chicken are laying eggs because they all have baby’s with themFeeding their eggs back is good protein, if any are laying. It also replenishes their calcium too, so they lay more eggs.
Soft Cat food can be given to it. Any kind of ground meat once cooked. You can even give her goat, lamb, beef if you cut it up in small pieces and cook it until it almost falls apart. It’s just that rn non of the chicken are laying eggs because they all have baby’s with them
Probably because she isn't getting a balanced diet.No I just give them corn but it’s weird because her other sister if fine she had all her feathers but one has lost a few feather and she barely has any
