I modified an aviary into my coop. I should have modified it so I could get into the coop inside the run. Huge mistake. Right now, I can not go in there to do anything, unless I have the girls locked out in the run. Sometime after we "spring forward" I'll be able to modify the run side of the coop and put in a very narrow "people" door. What's your mistake?

My human door fits me… but I have to walk in sideways while carrying a bag of feed. I definitely would have put in a double door or made the opening a few inches wider.

I installed the door into the run swinging inwards and it is almost as wide as that part of the run so you have to step in, swing it part-way back, and squeeze around it. It's is a regular house door and installed in a way that will not allow it to be modified, so I'm stuck with it.
