What is YOUR definition of romantic???

I have WHAT in my yard? :

Finding one of my favorite candy bars tucked into the visor of my car!

Getting into the car and finding the tank filled!

This morning saying, "I think I need to get some of those stake things to put around tht edge of the garden bed to keep the hose from running over my flowers." And a few minutes later seeing him putting them in!

Right now he is wearing a bathing suit and doing laundry with the kids!

Now THAT is romance!

Mine is off doing laundry too. AND he does it better than me!! Man, he's a keeper!​

It is very busy in our house we seem to be working on new projects all the time. My husband was out cutting and splitting wood one day and carved my name in a big peice of wood. I It is the simple surprizes that I find romantic. Like who would ever think a hunk off wood could mean so much. Needless to say that peice did not get split and thrown in the woodburner. I still have it in my garden.

When DBF jumps up to get me some water when I start coughing.

When DBF gets all angry because I decide to sleep on the couch to let him get a good night's sleep because I'm getting sick.


I don't know, maybe I don't really know what romance is?

Coming home to a home cooked meal, so I don't have to cook. My man also raised my boys even though he didn't have to, and they turned out to be some pretty great boys!
Anytime he thinks of me and reacts to the thought, like stopping and picking up my favorite chocolate, or a pizza or Chinese, so I don't have to cook on a busy day!
Putting up with my animals, and making it easier for me to care for them!
We agreed together we need to down size! Planning a vacation, even if we can never go. Dreaming together of the things we'd like to have someday, then looking around and see we have all we really need!

I think the most romantic time I ever had was at a renaissance festival for the day....I got flowers, we walked around and enjoyed the sites. It sort of felt like going back in time. Except for all the people that werent dressed up,lol.

The best thing giving it to the chickens is that your roo/s cuddle and are such sweeties.

If I had a definition of romantic, it would be when someone expects me for who I am and not for me not looking like some model that jumped off the catwalk. When someone gives me the day off to gobble up all my favorite candy bars. At present boys and romanticness doesn't interest me, it's great to be a middle-school-er!
