This is Bella. She is a retired racing greyhound. Her race name was “Slender Slim”. She is a good girl. We have rescued greyhounds for over 20 years. They make great companions.

I'd love to get something like a Border Collie.

We've had Josie for 8 years now or so. She's a great LGD in that she won't even let roosters mate hens as she thinks they're hurting them. They are so smart, and willing to please, but are very high energy. Great at retrieving balls and frisbees too and love to swim.

This is Maggie on the left, and Josie on the right. There is absolutely nothing behind their names. My hubby and I took literally days to come up with their names though, and neither means anything other than "she looks like a (insert name here)."

The same goes for the cats.

For the chickens, I found it much easier for me to just name those myself.

My dog will litterally pretend to be hurt with a very real looking limp and everything or he just won’t move and is like a brick. Or the worst of all he likes to spit water on people

No, the corgi can become stubborn at times, and the border collie will start whining if we don't throw a ball or go for a walk with her, but beyond that, nope.
