Hmm, that's a good point. I am somewhat that way too haha but they're like... constant lol I think a Lab, Golden, or Aussie, or something would also pester me to go out/do something but then would choll chill once we did
That said, I do love doing stuff with dogs and training and stuff and want to try some dog sports so it'd probably be fine but it's like constant with them lol
Yeah I totally understand that! That's how I'd try to raise a Springer or Malinois. But I currently have a purebred Lab and a Pointer mix and they don't pester me to get out, they kinda just lay around until I decide to walk them or something which is why I'm looking for something more high energy that can't even go one day without a long walk or jog. I think there's a way to raise any dog to be calm and chill in the house and of course training helps and I'm kind of interested in the challenge of raising a "chill" Malinois lol or at least get it to not be insane every moment of the day! I've talked to a couple owners of them who have raised them well and they all said when raised right they do have a off switch inside and they will sleep on the couch with them for a hours. But it's only if you provide all the exercise and mental stim they need (same for every breed) but I think if you're ready for a Malinois lifestyle then go for it! A Springer Spaniel is more chill then a Mal but still crazy which is why I'm getting one before I even seriously think about a Malinois to make sure I can handle such high energy dogs!
