what is your favorite breed of chicken?

Mine is Rosecomb Bantam

I once saw these gorgeous Jubilee Orpingtons at our annual pumpkin patch festival. They were the apple of my eye, therefore taking the win for me topping the wyandottes on this poll hehe.

My favorite so far are Orpingtons. And it's the only breed I have left after after one of my Wyandotte hens ruined an integration of Barred Rocks, and then proceeded to mercilessly pluck everyone else.

I have Jubilee Orpingtons and they are GORGEOUS. Everybody notices them first.....

Could you order eggs and hatch them? But maybe somebody on the island is breeding them?

I searched the internet for hatching eggs shipped to Hawaii, and unfortunately a lot of the hatcheries do not ship. If they do, it's super expensive because there needs to be special permits and a bunch of other paper work involved. I haven't thought about asking the person who had the jubilees at the pumpkin patch last year, but I definitely will.

I have a b/y mix pullet named Tweety. She is Leghorn/Wyandotte/Barred Rock splattered. She hops on me like a parrot when called and a favorite breeder as well. Her offspring is named Tweety jr etc.
Omg. If I had video I would keep bragging.

I love the Jersey Giant's but I'd have to say, and I might be biased..Lol!
Naked necks are the ultimate best chicken breed ever!!!
