I wish you had the video as well, but I see that in my head even still. One of mine went on to be a professional polo pony; that mare and your gelding were probably cut from the same cloth.I wish I had the video of my daughter and our thoroughbred, Thor, from the time she was dying his tail black for a horse show and made the HUGE mistake of tying a Walmart bag to his tail...He thought it was literally going to eat him.... It took us TWO HOURS to calm him down enough to take it off. Nothing like a 17.2 hh, 2000 lb animal to act like the biggest scaredy cat you've ever seen...
@Aunt Angus and @Liz Birdlover - They are pretty darn easy to make if you have a staple gun, zip ties, electric screwdriver, and a level. Save yourself $ (don't bother with Amazon). My setup with 2 yards of waterproof/outdoor fabric and the scrolly bars to hold out the edge cost maybe $10 all together.I like thoseawnings...looking into that as well.
GIANT.A few of my Marans lay large eggs, sometimes double or triple yolkers.

That's kind of what I was looking into doing, but I'd probably sew them just because I like sewing.@Aunt Angus and @Liz Birdlover - They are pretty darn easy to make if you have a staple gun, zip ties, electric screwdriver, and a level. HOLY SMOKES - 3 yolks; and the size. I'm expecting a chicken version of Superman to burst forth out of it...My Maran egg was triple yolked.
