I want to try it, save for the sneaking suspicion the only resulting product would be of a nature most people don't like to keep...
I'm leaving the possibility open that someone out there collects chicky doo.
You know, I just realized, with its adhesion properties perhaps dyed glittery doo doo would have some kind of paint or spackling purpose...
🤯😶‍🌫️😯
Some thoughts are better left in the head, lmao!!!

I like all colour eggs. after all, they all taste the same ;);). But my favorite eggs are blue. Odile lays those. they are absolutely spectacular, but we don't really get many due to the fact that she is an oldie. I should probably breed her before she stops laying completely. I love that hen 🥰
I love my gals so much i want to pick them up and hug them and squeeze them! They dont see the appeal. Unless its an actual peel. Apple preferably, lol

Yah, you do NOT want to mess with the chocolate pudding plops ! Throw some dirt / bark on them, scoop and be gone with them!

They always wait to cecal when you want to pick them up too, WHY couldn't you have done that earlier? I did not need my pant leg decorated!

True! Before coming back inside the house after Chicken time, I wash my boots at the hose, with soap. Upon entering the back door, unto the laundry area, all footwear stops here, boots set on the boot tray & outer layer clothes get peeled off & go right into the washer.
I love my flock, but there will be No Cecal poop, or any poo if I can help it, tracked into the house or stinking up my hamper.

I had a few Americauna's at one time, both were psychotic. I mean genuinely. Id be there with the other 4 all around me eating, getting rubbed, snack time and the one would be about 5 feet away screaming at me like I was attacking her. She'd not go in the coop with the others and Id have to go get her at night, when I did grab her she'd scream at the top of her lungs with the most horrifying pity enducing death cry you ever heard, like I was a hawk tearing her lungs out right on the spot.

id be feeding one of the other birds and she'd just out of nowhere go into panic and spook the rest of them, all because I reached into a feed bag, and she's standing 10 feet away. I ended up getting rid of her, she never would lay eggs and I couldn't take the crap anymore from her, all she did is upset and make the others jittery all day.

I got another Americauna, from the same person, and this bird was retarded, it took me about a week to figure out what was with her but I finally did, animals can suffer retardation, which in the wild, usually takes them out, but this one survived, and was just.... stupid. This leads me to believe either Scotty got a real bad line of birds, or they are stupid / psychotic by nature. I was hoping for blue eggs, never did get a one.

Now I got 5 birds again which technically is my limit if I follow the rules of the city, YSR, and in a chicken tractor, is plenty.

some do, I have one who I will hug her and she loves the attention. others after maybe 15 seconds or so are like, ok enough you big hairy ape, let me down.

But, the downside is, the more I love on them, the more hate I get from the Inside Evil, Paco HATES it when I give them attention and not him. But this CAN be used as a training tool so....

Whenever I sit down, they come over & either jump in my lap or jump up on my shoulder if my lap is occupied by another chicken 😆
I got this pic right before she jumped on my shoulder.

I like holding my chickens too. The best kind of chicken to cuddle are the big fat ones. Just not the meat birds;)

My barred rock used to do that all the time, now she's real flighty, don't know why either, she just flipped. BUT, the one bigger girl, who I will just call Red B$#$tch, makes small little clucking sounds that send the little ones running in fear. So I have a feeling she told them, that I belong to her or something, because she IS my biggest attention whore and one who will let me pick her up and whatever. She's the one who insists on trying the squat trip every time I get outside. You'd think after giving her a little pet n ruffle she'd be happy and leave you alone, nope, two minutes later there she is again, squatting right in front of you with an arm full of whatever.

Yikes! Sounds like a lot of inbreeding might have been involved. That's the appeal of barnyard mixes for me. I hope you get to have a steady headed blue egger one day. .
