Out of those, which breed is the least likely to be psychotic, more human friendly and less flighty. americauna? or however it is, were all crazy. It could have been the guy I got them from but not sure.

(Americaunas are just Easter Eggers. The spelling is to make you think you are getting an Ameraucana, which is the real deal blue egg layer).

My Ameraucanas are sweet, but are the flightiest breed I own. I've never kept Legbars or Arauncas before. I here Legbars are a human friendly breed, but can be bossy. Arauncas have a lethal gene so they are harder to come by. Most things I hear about them are good.

They all have unique personalities, ranging from calm to drama queen 😆 but I think they all become drama queens at times, especially when hawks are zooming around.
Some sure do seem to enjoy running around fast more often, such as the RIRs, Marans & EEs. My Buff Orpingtons & Wyandottes & 1 Brahma only run for a reason, if there's a predator, or they see me holding a chunk of cornbread, but they're generally calm. Younger chickens all can be flighty at times, they're just energetic kids after all.

All are calm when I am with them, they trust me, plus they saw me running waving a broom chasing hawks off, so they either know I've got their back, or just appreciate my crazy, entertaining antics. 🤪

I spend time with mine, so when I am there with them, they're pretty calm. I wish I could spend hours with them daily, but at least a few minutes daily after work & then longer times on days off (well really none of us has a "day off" as we work harder at home than at work right? 😆 but even scooping poop, I don't consider it work cuz I Love being in the flock's company). Anyway, just spend time with them, whether flighty or calm, they are social able & will come to love you & they all do get calmer with age. Especially if you're carrying something & walking their way...everything they see you with is considered a gift, just for them! So sometimes, make sure it's something they can peck at...mine are partial to melons, squash, mealworms, cabbage, warm oatmeal & cornbread 😋.
Funny thing...my hens love treats, but my Roos want treats And hugs. 8724.jpeg 8730.jpeg

What chicken breeds produce blue eggs? 😍 I’ve had Americanas who had such light, mossy green, it almost appeared blue, but never full on blue!!
Araucanas, Ameraucanas, Easter Eggers, Cream Legbars, Whiting True Blues, Arkansas Blues, Lushi, and Dongxiang chickens all lay blue eggs! Some of those breeds also lay green or pink, too. Cream Legbars have a rare chance of laying white eggs.

I want to try it, save for the sneaking suspicion the only resulting product would be of a nature most people don't like to keep...
I'm leaving the possibility open that someone out there collects chicky doo.
You know, I just realized, with its adhesion properties perhaps dyed glittery doo doo would have some kind of paint or spackling purpose...
🤯😶‍🌫️😯
Just leave the Cecal poop alone...trust me on that one! 🤮
