What is your friendliest Chicken? What breed is it?

Yes, not all our chickens are so friendly. We have a couple of BO's who are friendly but only like to sit in our lap for a little while. We also have another Dominique who was a super friendly peep, but turned into a devil when she reached the "teens". She would also peck our hands and try to jump on our feet. She thankfully grew out of it when she started laying but doesn't like to be held like the other two.

ours never got out of the devil stage.

Awwww so cute. Is she a Sultan or a Polish? Have a great love for the large head feathers. Our Polish runs hot and cold, depends on how she feels that day as to how she feels about us. But I do love her hair.

Still adorable and still a baby. We have our 2 wee ones in the house still. They are getting rambunctious and are ready to go out but not with the weather like it has been recently. Afraid they will have to hold out for a while longer.

and my Rhode Island Red, Darling



They are all so sweet that I can't choose just one. When I sit in the coop to spend time with them these three always scramble and fight to get a spot on my lap

Gosh my "friendliest" is my Japanese Rooster...His name is "Poppy" & I didn't raise him, but he will come when I call, follow me around the property, he trusts me

I absolutely LOVE him!!! As a bonus, he's SOOO good to his lady (@this time we only have one hen, same breed)
