What it is a good site

Yea, I know that the SLs can have gold on their breasts (a lot in fact), but several of these have a lot of gold all over them including on their back. I don't think the one I got a pic of has as much on her back as some of the others. THese are from the hatchery as pullets and they guarantee 90 percent so most of them should be pullets.

On the red ones, especially when they were a little smaller, they also had a white or light colored tips on their feathers which is unlike RIRs from my experience.

THe fourth pic shows the white tips pretty good. Am I correct in thinking that this is not typical of RIRs?

Those are RIR. They are most likely hatchery RIR, not exhibition quality so they are probably not what you are used to. Mine looked EXACTLY like that when she was young and now she is a nice dark color (not really dark like the show birds but dark enough). Those are just their juvenile feathers and they are common. The other red and white ones are RED or GOLD Sex-Links. Some of them are Sex-Links and some RIR. The first couple pics are of a RiR, the last few of the gold and white ones are the sex-links, which would be the ones you referred to as the onese with gold on their backs. The BLS you've already got down. I hope I was able to explain myself clear enough
