What it sounds like when a Buff Orp lays an egg here

I was out taking some pics in my coop and a buff orp jumped out of the nest box and started squawking. This clip is actually the "wind-down" from the racket she caused. This actually went on for about 5 minutes.

My BOs are the loudest, too, when they're laying, followed by the BRs. Everyone else seems to be very dainty about it!

My little Serama does that too, when she lays an egg! It's really funny - but I'm not sure what my neighbors think! At least I know when she's laid the egg... if I hear her, I know I can go out and get it.
