Does anyone know the going rate to hatch eggs I was given about 48 eggs to hatch off for someone in my bator I have order chick so i was not going to hatch off any for my self hate dealing with all the rooster. So what would be a fair price. DK

Most purebred chicks sell from $1.50 to $3.50+ depending upon breed.

$1 to $1.50 for every chick that hatches would be my guess.

kinda hard to say time, bator cost, power usage are all factors i sell my "mutt" chicks for 1.50 and firnish the eggs. so my guess would be in the range of 1.00 to 1.50 for hatched chicks or .50 to 1.00 of all eggs put in.

Can't remember where I saw this, I think craigslist, a local hatchery will set someones eggs for $1 ea. It did say they only charged for the ones that hatched.
