What killed my 5 chickens in the middle of the day?

I have posted this before. It's a family of coyotes. I think the adult has/is teaching the young not to go near the coops and pens because a bird is not worth getting zapped for. I have a quite powerful fence charger and anyone/anything that touches the wires will hurt for a couple of days.

We had a coyote hop a 76 inch block wall at 2:39 pm one day and carry off a 14 month old Wyandotte. I had it on camera or I would have suspected a hawk, even with the size of the bird, I just thought coyotes couldn't get in. I was shocked at what the camera captured, in broad daylight no less! We put up coyote rollers and a game cam that covers the outside of the wall so I can see what is out there now. It can most definitely be a coyote in the daytime, which was a real shock to me.

Many years ago a coyote went over the fence of a rather small pen during the day. It and some of the birds went back over and it did kill some. As it was running around the yard chasing birds, I did manage to get a shot off. I'm sure I hit it but I had bird shot in my gun. It did take off.
