What killed my chicken?

This morning I went out to feed everyone. Noticed my smallest hen wasn’t there and then noticed her entire wing on the ground. No animal can go underneath the fencing. I’m confused on what it could be. Would an owl or hawk leave the wing?

More information would help. Best estimate.......bird killed in the night or after you let them out in the morning? (Killed in the coop in the night or in the yard during the day?)

If in the coop.......can you share pictures of that? In the yard......pictures of that?

Sorry about your hen.
Finding only the wing is not very common, as far as I know.

How big was this chicken?
The only time i found that was when a feral tom cat was going in the coop at night and eating the young birds. Leaving me to find beaks, feet and wing leftovers in the nestboxes.
