This morning I went to feed and water and found one of my ducks injured and one missing without a trace. We had 2 ducks together in a pin with a duck house. The duck left behind has a small circular wound on the side of her head and a larger wound on her lower back. The other is just gone no feathers no gore nothing what could have done this and how do I treat the wounded duck I worry about maggots or infection in her back wound

Could you take pictures of the wounded duck?

How secure is your pen? Is it covered? Check the border line fence for any spots that could have been dug under. Knowing where in the world you are located will also help us determine the predator.

I live in Oklahoma, and no cover. I'll try to get some pictures for you

You'll have to keep your wounded duck inside away from flies until the wounds are healed over scabbed over. Wash them out real good you can use warm salt water clip feathers away from the wounds so when the healing begins feathers aren't caught in the wound. And yes post pictures. What could have taken your duck? maybe an owl since nothing was left. Very sorry for your loss.
