Lavender Orpington

She looks just like my lavender orp hens. We had a barred rock that was super vocal because she was anxious and bullied. Once we overhauled our flock and rehomed the bullies, she was quiet aside from egg song or "I see you outside! Come see the chicken!!!" scream that sounded like a goat dying.

I'm guessing she's anxious. Or she likes the sound of her own voice. If it's annoying and you can't find a solution, I'd suggest rehoming her. She looks lovely.

I have a blue andalusian that makes the loudest min-dinosaur sounds as well, sometimes for no reason at all. I think she gets a kick out of it because none of the other chickens can make those sounds
