What killed my duck?

Hope someone can help; one of my ducks was killed last night. Only a wing, some bits of organs and an egg shell left behind. She was inside her enclosure but found outside. No dig marks, no pile of feathers indicating a struggle, nothing. Any idea what did this?

The top is covered with a sun shade fabric over metal wire (like a dog kennel).
