what kind of a bird is this...???

Anyone know what kind of a bird this is? Showed up at my house - Is not afraid of me.... Maybe someone's homing pigeon? Looks cold.

It's not a homing pigeon since it has feathered feet. It looks sick.

It is some kind of fancy pigeon....poor thing it does look cold if it got out of a pen somewhere maybe it is hungry and sick from malnutrition?

I gave it some cracked corn from the chickens but it doesn't eat it at all... It has been pecking at my new grass seed. I put my hand out but it does not step on. I don't want to grab it and upset it.

As a side note, be sure to keep it separated from your flock. Don't forget to wash your hands if you handle it.
