What kind of babtam?

Correct me if I am wrong, but my understanding is that bantams could be almost any breed of chicken, just a smaller version? I used to think that bantams were a singular breed ofit's own. Anywho, I hatched this bantam with a neighbor's egg but no idea what kind of bantam. Any ideas? Hes got odd coloring. He is the one on right in the second pic.

No clue. She literally gifted me eggs because she knew I wanted to incubate. I've never been to her house.

Shes off grid so it is a little tricky. All I know is the roo was white.

Or maybe what breed? Almost every breed can be white, I think.

Was he a bantam? If she has many roosters and hens of different breeds running together it’s almost certain the chicks will be mixes

According to her, full bantam. The egg was tiny so I am assuming she was telling the truth.

It could have been laid by a full bantam, but if it was fertilized by a rooster of a different breed it would be a mix.
