What kind of bantam are they? Gender?

Legs are way to long for a Japanese bantam. Also his tail is all wrong.

Mm no. He does not have black legs like those birchen modern.. I am pretty sure he looks more like grey Japanese. He is only 12 weeks old.. too early to tell?

Hatchery stock usually does not resemble breeder quality. Leg color is often off. But this bird has longer legs, and an upright carriage. Japanese have short legs, and are small.

Hi guys. I think I figured out what kind of cockerel Rover is!! He is Silver Duckwing Welsummers Bantam!!!
