Yes, it is a frizzle cochin. Could be a Buff or Red. Sometimes a red bird take a little time to reach full color. As for sex of the bird, it is at that iffy stage. I would consider it a roo until I knew for certain. If it crows, then you'll know.

I agree its not red. I believe its buff Mine is red also he is a roo and 4 months old now. This was him at 2-3 weeks old
