i dont know but i had a chicken that looks like that and she is a barred rock! the coloring looks like a barred but i dont think thats what she is!

The chick appears to not have a single comb, which should narrow the breeds down somewhat. (Some Cuckoo Marans do have feathered feet, but they, and Barred Rocks and Cochins all have single combs.)

So, barred coloring, feathered feet, and a pea or rose comb? Do the hatcheries sometimes experiment with developing new color varieties?

What color are the legs?
