Judging by our neighborhood, I don't think it's likely to be a peachick, but a wild turkey is possible.
What is a snood thing?
How does a game bird starter differ from a chick starter? I'm planning on making a feedstore stop tomorrow, so hopefully can find what it needs.
What other tips do I need to know about turkeys, particularly wild ones? I don't know anyone near here with turkeys, but there are wild ones pretty close.
(This one obviously wasn't in the wild long; it snuggled up against be sleeping peacefully now, but makes a fuss when I put it in the box by itself What a sweetheart!)

Gamebird starter is higher protein % and non-medicated.
ETA: Try putting a small stuffed animal or a clean feather duster in with it for company.
