What kind of blood sucking bugs are these?

Diatomaceous earth or borax will get rid of them sprinkle it oround your coop and run and the earth inside coop and run i used to get them all the time we have deer heads on our walls hunting trophies but they're easy to get rid of

These are flying bugs not crawling ones......

It could be a little Black fly but it's impossible to tell from that photo. Need a sideways shot.

The comb looks fine to me, but any pyrithren or permethrin spray from the feed store will work to keep them away.
Diatomaceous earth will do nothing against flying insects.

When I picked it off of her there was a tiny spot of blood on my finger. It was like that with the other few I picked of my rooster.
